After 18 years as a mainstream secondary teacher I decided to continue my development with a PG Cert in SpLD Dyslexia , I am now a fully qualified dyslexia assessor and specialist teacher (registered AMBDA and APC with the British Dyslexia Association). I combine multi-sensory adaptations, overlearning, study skills and using assistive technology to give learners strategies they can use independently.
