Specialist Tuition:

Specialist 1:1 Literacy Support (Ages 4–13)

Tailored 1:1 literacy support for children aged 4–13 through the Conquering Literacy programme by Kelly and Phillips (2022). This evidence-based, structured intervention is designed for children who find reading, spelling, or writing challenging, particularly those with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties (SpLDs).

What Happens in a Session?

Sessions are:

•Active and hands-on

•Adapted to each child’s pace and learning style

•Designed to keep children engaged and motivated

 

Your child’s first session is a gentle literacy assessment to identify their current level and the support they need. This ensures the programme is tailored to them and begins at the right stage.

 

Weekly 1:1 Sessions

•50 minutes, once a week

•Held in my calm and welcoming home office or online

•Consistent routine to help children feel safe, focused, and at ease
