Cognitive Learner Profile
🌱 Learner Profile Assessments
Helping You Understand How Your Child Learns
These gentle, child-friendly assessments shine a light on how your child thinks, remembers, and processes information. The result? A clear picture of their learning style, plus practical strategies you can use at home and teachers can apply in school.

What Is a Learner Profile Assessment?
Think of it as a learning snapshot. It’s not a diagnostic test, but rather a detailed overview of your child’s cognitive strengths and areas where they may need extra support. It’s especially helpful if you:
•Aren’t ready for a full diagnostic assessment, or don’t yet meet the criteria
•Want clarity around skills like memory, attention, or processing speed
•Would like practical strategies before pursuing further referrals

What We Explore
Every child’s profile is unique, but we may look at:
•Reasoning skills — verbal and visual problem-solving
•Working memory — holding and using information
•Processing speed — how quickly information is absorbed and applied
•Phonological skills — foundations for reading and spelling
•Writing fluency — handwriting and written expression
•Optional language screening — if concerns are raised
We keep the focus on what matters most for your child — no unnecessary testing.
How the Process Works
1. Before the Assessment
•Parents complete a background questionnaire
•Schools are invited to share insights too This helps us understand your child’s history, strengths, and learning environment.
2. During the Assessment
•Held at our home office or, if suitable, in your home
•Lasts around 2 hours, with breaks whenever needed
•Always paced to keep your child relaxed and supported
3. After the Assessment You’ll receive:
•A clear written Learner Profile Report
•Identification of strengths and areas for development
•Practical recommendations for home and school, including classroom strategies
